PortsEurope: Cádiz port calls geotechnical research tender for dredging project

Cádiz, Spain (PortSEurope) June 26, 2019 – Cádiz port authority has indicated that the deepening of the navigation channel continues to advance with the publication of the tender for geotechnical research, necessary for the drafting of the project.

The execution of the dredging of the entrance channel to the port is part of the Strategic Plan of the port authority aimed at meeting the draft needs caused by the traffic planned in its different docks, with increasingly larger ships.

The dredging project to deepen the navigation channel of the port is in drafting and to be able to advance in this project and, in particular, to delimit with more certainty the geotechnical parameters of the channel.
