Last week, the keel laying of the two custom-built 29,190kW heavy-duty rock cutter suction dredgers for the Egyptian Suez Canal Authority (SCA), took place at IHC's shipyard in Krimpen aan den IJssel.
The vessels, named MOHAB MAMEESH and 26th OF JULY, will have an overall length of 147.4 metres and provide a maximum dredging depth of 35 metres.
